I miss you.

I miss the art.
I miss the arting.
I miss the people.

Things are going to change in a matter of months and I most certainly crave to get back to this place.

But there's things I need to do first and I'm breaking myself in the process so we'll see the outcome later.

Life is hard especially when it's your own choices that got you to a place from which you need to get out of.

I'm scared.

Life update/if you've commissioned me read this !

Hello there all you amazing people !

I've got so many new watchers like what even, where are you coming from ! I thank every one of you deeply for that uvu

And now to serious business.

I finally graduated in 30th of May and if I didn't have time prior to this, I certainly don't have it now.

I decided to take a gap year, and that meant I needed to get a job. And I got one. Then I started hating the job (I had like three shifts in a month aka no money) and switched jobs because I got a nicer job offering. Then I got yet another job offering and right now I'm rocking to jobs.

Then, my mom kicked me out.
I had to start searching to find an apartment to live in and I found one. I've moved now but all my stuff is still in boxes and I need to clean this place up before anything else.
FYI, my kitchen is a horrible retrocave.

What is more, my computer died. It was expected but still. Hate hate hate. So now I'm doing everything on my phone, I'm writing this here on my phone too. I think it'll take some time before I have the time/money to get another one so no new artworks coming in the next I-don't-even-now-how-long-a-period-of-time.

Basically, I don't have the time for dA nor arting in general right now and I have no idea when I will, as sad as it is.

That is why I've decided to refund all commission that haven't been completed yet. I will contact every commissioner via a note and make sure everyone gets their refunds.

However, I am visiting dA quite often, just browsing and commenting, so even if I'm not posting art I'm still here <3

I just need to clear my inbox first before anything else, it has yet again exploded

As the header states, this shall be my entry to Agaave's Feature and Feedback Contest

During my five years of browsing deviantART I've stumbled upon some real masterpieces.
I've seen digital artworks which looked like traditional and on the other hand I've seen traditional art which I've mistaken for digitally made material.
Before buying my first tablet a few years back I didn't have the kind of respect for digital art than I had for traditional
and somehow it became a kind of an artsy milestone for me if a traditional piece fooled me into thinking it was digital.
Maybe it's the vivid colors ?

This feature is dedicated to those artists who have made my jaw drop when I've scrolled down to see that the fantastic piece of art is traditional.

Windspirit-aquaeris

Windspirit-Aquaeris is the master of colored pencils.
Her dragons fly through vivid sunsets or stunning views of space.
I've been watching her for years already but I still can't get tired of her magnificent masterpieces. There's thousands of details in every piece she makes with the best color combos you'll ever see. There is some kind of magical sorcery going on behind her incredible works, I swear ! Someday I hope to be able to color like her but in the meantime I'll rely on my Copics.♥

Lindoart

On the contrary to Windspirit-Aquaeris' bright and upbeat works, LindoArt creates dreamy moods in her paintings. The artist's use of pastel colors contributes to the mysterious vibes in her art and the fact that she's painting on wood panels is unbelievable. The texture it gives looks ravishing. While watching her works I usually listen to Lana Del Rey or
Florence and The Machine's music. It is recommended wholeheartedly !

theirison

theirison is a remarkable artist with a unique style and use of color.
All his works are very well executed and the attention to detail is truly mind-blowing. I fell in love with the bright colors and geometric shapes. The mix of abstraction and photo-like people in his works is luring the viewer to take a closer look. I have a habit of taking long trips into his gallery whenever I feel blue and it surely does wonders ! Top that with EasyFun or Dreamtrak's music and you have a match made in heaven.

awaicu

awaicu is definitely one of my favorite deviantART users ever.
Her style is recognizable and fascinating and her use of gel pen to give the artwork some edgy details is spectacular ! The different creatures' anatomy is always flawlessly drawn despite the angle it is positioned in.
I'm always eager to see what she has created when
I see a new artwork from her sitting in my watchbox !
Uplifting old goldies like Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre are very suitable to be listened to while wandering around her gallery !

cam-miyu

I am a sucker for anything Art Nouveau and cam-miyu's gallery is full of the two things I love to bits and smithereens: Art Nouveau and tattoos.
I chose to feature only one of her fantastic works solemnly for the reason that, as you can see, it features the lovely little dwarf Gimli.
The color combo is fantastic as is in her other works too
and the details are stunning, making the piece one of my forever-favorites.
Recommended music: The 1975 or Arctic Monkeys

sysirauta

Sysirauta is a fellow Finn who has a freakish talent in stuffing numerous details in their artwork.
Being a total pro in using a wide variety of traditional media to create these magnificent pieces, Sysirauta is a one of a kind with their unique and recognizable style. I've always wondered where their ideas and concepts for art come from because, truly, their original characters are some of the most fascinating and detailed creatures I've ever seen. Visiting their gallery is a guaranteed inspiration. Just take a look yourself !

...I was officially and completely back in action here in dA ? (;

Hello there all old and new friends !

I've got a feeling that after these two years of silence I am finally coming back to dA.
My more-or-less hiatus has been going for way too long a time already.
So, here's the thing.

I am drawing.

Late in the same year I started upper secondary school I also developed a massive art block.
It's been about two years of blocking and now the block's finally fading away.
I was a person who'd constantly sketch to notebooks at school but for the last two years - nothing.
Now, things are changing.
I am sketching again.
I am drawing again.
I feel inspired to draw again.

This is a huge thing for me because art has always been my happy little thing. ♥
I feel so good and happy and I just want to smile and dance all the time

I know the cause of the block was my poor ability to schedule my time efficiently.
Along with the new school/way more schoolwork than before it caused a lot of stress for me.
I've come to realize that I stress very easily. Gladly it can be prevented with proper scheduling.

Now I am almost done with this school, I have my last two matriculation examinations (finals-or-so) next week.
I'm not stressing about them, gladly, because I know they will go well anyway (:
The thing I am concerned about though is where the hell I will be going next !

There's just way too many things that interest me.

Graphic design
Film editing
Cultural producing
Leisure management
Media and Entertainment management
and so on.

I've also been checking Dutch schools out because the tuition fees are minimal and no matter how I count,
the costs would be lower than if I had to move to our capital, Helsinki, to study.
(I love Helsinki but the rent prices are ABSURD if you are a completely broke student.)
So, maybe, I will be moving to The Netherlands this year, who knows. 8)

Commissions

I am drawing them. Slowly but steadily.
This whole journal is the product of my awakened ability to draw.
I have finished one piece already and the second is coming out nicely ! öuö
I will start uploading them to my gallery as soon as I have three pieces done.
I will also be uploading other pieces I have in my Sta.sh which I haven't uploaded for whatever reason before.

I will also become more active around here !
For a long time I haven't felt good about answering comments and keeping up with all the notifications so they've piled up.
Now the happiness of commenting has come back along with my inspiration to draw.

Today I've gone through most of my notifications.
I only have 100 to go !
(I apologize for pretty much mass-deleting all deviation notifications,
I am so sorry for not commenting on your masterpieces ;A; there just were too many. But I will in the future !♥)

Facts:

1. I suck at organizing my own schedule very much OTL

2. On the other hand I'm good at organizing others' stuff or small events and would like to participate in organizing big events someday

3. I work best under pressure but I tend to procrastinate and do things on the very last minute. Which is not a good thing in any way.

4. I am obsessed with films, music, art, languages and cultures in general.

5. For me, watching a movie is a sacred ritual. You are not allowed to talk, check your phone or do anything which steals your focus from the movie while watching it. Or I get REALLY irritated and angry. önö

6. I am a very happy person in general but there are times when this doesn't apply. For example early mornings are full of hate xD Especially before I've had my morning coffee.

7. I sing and dance everywhere and anywhere. People always tell me to shut up but I just don't care xD

My dreams are all fucked up, really

(But that's why I love them ♥)

But one that came to my mind was one where I met this guy who introduced himself as Bär. (First, peeps never tell their names to me in a dream. Second, the name is Swedish for a berry. xD) But the whole dream was totally fucked up as always, it was about some kind of a battle, but with water. That's why I've named the dream "Water bombing". So these people fought by shooting tons and tons of water in the air, so it came down like a massive tsunami or something. I'm not gonna start explaining the whole thing, it'd be too long, but let's just say when everything and everyone were soaked, Bär came out of nowhere being as dry as a desert. He also was a really mysterious character (and rather handsome) and when I woke up I was seriously hyped and inspired and felt AMAZING.

I want more dreams like that. More berries. eue

Actually, nothing that I can think of ? xD

I think I wouldn't be the same person I am today If I hadn't done the stupidities I've done, so I see no point in being ashamed of the stuff
